Accountants celebrate another successful Lincolnshire Show

June 26, 2017 at 9:43 AM

From hosting a mini knight, in partnership with EBP and the Nomad Trust, to team mascot Worzel making his second appearance at the Lincolnshire Show, Lincolnshire based accountancy firm Nicholsons Chartered Accountants are celebrating another successful year at the Lincolnshire Show.

With their pitch in front of the main ring, visitors were not only treated to a great view of activities but were also at the heart of the Show. “Our pitch was great but we were also very lucky to host a mini knight as part of the mini Knights Trail at this years show” commented Director, Richard Hallsworth. Hosting a knight from the “mini knights trail” gave visitors the chance to see some of the excellent artwork produced by students from Boston Grammar School who had worked in partnership with EBP.

This year, visitors also had the chance to meet artists from the Lincoln Knight’s Trail. Artist Erin Fleming who painted Pedal Pride, sponsored by Nicholsons was present and gave the visitors an insight into the inspirations behind her design. Knight artists Jon Garside and Amy Sayer were also present to meet visitors and share their experience in painting the knights.

Nicholsons were joined by Matt Corrigan from Lincoln Business Improvement Group who spoke of their aim and vision for Lincoln. Rachel Hewitt who was present with Nicholsons throughout the two-day event also shared how the Knights Trail would help expand the work of the Nomad Trust, helping the homeless and providing support and shelter.

Director Richard Hallsworth said “The 2017 show has been our most successful yet. We were extremely pleased to have delegates and artists involved in Knight’s Trail with us this year. It was great to put the spotlight on the Knights Trail at the Lincolnshire Show which is such a positive event for Lincolnshire”.

Last but not least, Worzel once again enjoyed his two days of fame out in the sun at the Showground. Worzel the Farming accountant enjoyed himself; visiting clients at the other exhibitors. Worzel and everyone at Nicholsons look forward to the 2018 Lincolnshire Show again next year.
