We are currently looking for a Senior Business Administrator to join our team in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to take on a senior role, providing essential support to our Client Managers and Business Directors, overseeing workflows, mentoring junior staff and covering reception duties when needed.
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Business Administrator, your role will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of our business unit. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to Directors, including document preparation, email management, reports and presentations
- Managing client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for clients and partners
- Overseeing and prioritising workflows to ensure deadlines are met across multiple teams
- Supervising and mentoring junior admin staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their development
- Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for Directors, ensuring efficient time management
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Taking meeting minutes for senior-level discussions, preparing agendas and tracking action points
- Covering reception duties as required, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, handling visitor queries and managing meeting room bookings
- Ensuring the reception area maintains a professional and welcoming atmosphere for clients and guests
- Assisting in the management of workflow by keeping various computer records updated including document scanning
- Working to develop and improve efficiencies within the Secretarial, Administration and the wider teams within the firm.
- Providing support by staffing seminars/ events and business meetings, as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within a professional services or accountancy firm
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude, able to work independently while being a key team player
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive client information
- Prior reception or front-of-house experience is preferred, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
