Nicholsons Chartered Accountants was delighted to welcome guests to its Autumn Budget Breakfast Briefing last week, bringing together local business owners, professionals and individuals for a morning of insight, discussion and networking.

Held on Thursday 29 October at Marshall Land Rover Lincoln, Teal Park, the event provided an opportunity to explore the announcements from the Chancellor’s Autumn Budget and, importantly, what they could mean in practice for businesses and individuals.

The morning featured presentations from Richard Hallsworth, Director at Nicholsons, and Kate Brown, our Tax Specialist. Together, they shared their expertise on the key Budget announcements, highlighting the potential implications for taxpayers, business owners and those planning for their financial future.

With changes to taxation and wider financial policy always having the potential to influence important decisions, understanding the detail behind the headlines is essential. The session encouraged guests to consider how the announcements might affect their own circumstances and what steps they could take to plan ahead.

A Great Morning at Marshall Land Rover

Alongside the presentations, guests also had the opportunity to hear from James Peutrell at Marshall Jaguar Land Rover, who introduced us to the business and its impressive showroom.

A particular highlight was the opportunity to see the all-electric Range Rover, providing an interesting insight into the latest developments in electric motoring.

We would like to extend a big thank you to James and the team at Marshall Land Rover Lincoln for hosting us, and to everyone who took the time to attend.

At Nicholsons, we believe that supporting our clients goes beyond preparing accounts and completing tax returns. Keeping businesses and individuals informed, helping them understand changes and providing practical guidance is an important part of what we do.

Events like this give us the opportunity to share our knowledge, answer questions and build relationships with the wider business community.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us. We hope you found the morning informative and took away some valuable insights.
