We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our former colleague, Graham Ashley.
Graham joined the firm at just 16 years old and dedicated an incredible 50 years of service to our Market Rasen team. Throughout that time, he became known not only for his work ethic, but also for the trust, steadiness, and loyalty he brought to everyone around him.
“Graham was a cornerstone of our office in Market Rasen where he built some incredible relationships with clients, who would visit the office for a chat with him” said Richard Hallsworth who worked with Graham for 17 years.
Graham played a significant role in supporting his clients’ success. His commitment and character left a lasting mark on colleagues and clients alike, many of whom still speak warmly of the support and reassurance he provided over the decades. He was a fanatic Leeds United supporter and was Nicholsons one man quiz master with an encyclopaedic knowledge of just about everything!
“In typical style, Graham didn’t want a fuss when he retired so we gathered together those colleagues who’d worked with him and had a simple fish and chip lunch to mark his retirement. Graham told many stories of his fifty years that day which will live on as part of our culture for years to come”.
Our thoughts are with Graham’s family and friends at this difficult time. We are grateful for his many years of service and the impact he had on all who worked with him.
He will be fondly remembered.
